I picked up a Sonos play:1 this weekend and so far I am very impressed after some digging around the house I have found an old external hard drive and router with usb port. The plan is to move my music collection onto the spare hard drive and share it through the router. Anybody done this themselves and can give me any hints. Ie best way to organise the files or other nuggets of information that I may need. Thanks
I got napster fir £10 a month and its fantastic for sonos, every song yiu could ever wish for, i have a hard drive with music on, but never use it since getting napster
Organise it however you want - when Sonos scans the files it uses the meta-data to organise and group the files for its own use.
