Hi just wondering if anyone had any experience with these looking to purchase but both have mixed reviews ,impressed by the sonos capability meaning you can add on,but also concerned about its capability if wireless not strong enough does the music become garbled??

Thanks in advance for your help.

Tried the sonos and was impressed by it but both seem a tad pricey for what they are. Do you use iTunes? If so consider an apple TV connected to an amp or TV of your choice. If you loathe itunes go for the sonos, haven't tried any recent products from bose but have always thought their products were overrated in terms of sound quality.

As far as I know music will never garble over wifi as I assume it's temporarily cached in the device, so it will either play or not play.

As per @rwc03 - I connect my AppleTV (£100) to my existing TV / hi fi. Proper HiFi speakers and amp are a million times better than any of these Bose/sonos things - I know as I spent £200 on a set of Bose for the Mrs as that what she wanted.

Got a Sonos 3 and bridge from Costco. Hooked it up to my NAS, so all music on tap and dont have to have the computer on. Internet radio/spotify etc etc. Quality to my ears is really good.
Only problem is the DRM music from itunes (wont play) I purchased a few years ago, iTunes want to charge me again to get the DRM free version ****ers.
