So, I was with a group of young people today and they started whistling the Peter Bjorn and John song ‘Young Folks’. To which I said to them, that I am rather partial to a good song with whistling in it. However, the only song that came to mind was Captain Beefheart’s, ‘Harry Irene’.

Which version of Mr Bojangles? - I really like Dylan’s version, but cannot recollect any whistling.
I think I might make a playlist of the above suggestions and spend a couple of days listening only to songs with whistling 🙂

When I was at university (early 80’s) I got a Christmas job at the post office. I spent one of the shifts cancelling stamps with a hand stamp, it was hellish. They make it sound fun 🙂
