There used to be an MR2 'Ferrari' in Cheltenham (might still be I suppose). To be fair it was pretty good, really made you look twice.
Conversions based on the Peugeot 406 coupe are quite common.
I mean a FWD, front engined coupe, makes the perfect donor car for a mid engined RWD Ferrari
Some of them did look okay, other not so much...

Wasn’t the 406 a Pininfarina design, so pretty much a Ferrari anyway?
Yeah I had a 3 litre , was actually a pretty car.
The MR2 jobbies are very realistic in looks and would make you do a double take if they’ve spent the time and money to retrim.
Can’t think of anything worse than a replica Ferrari tbh.
It's usually the execution that is the biggest fail...see example above.
I know they aren't real Ferraris but actually seen some really nicely done ones
I'm using lockdown to turn my Zoe into a Lamborghini Urus because the Urus just has ordinary doors so It'll be easier to do it. And it has 4 seats.
Aren't these just the petrolhead versions of tribute bands?

Yeah but when you go and see fake Guns N Roses, they still play the all the notes in the right order.
I'm not sure a 406 with a body kit is even playing the same song to a Ferrari 360 or F430
At best its like comparing a 90s "Sweet Child of Mine" ring tone to seeing the real band live.
Pah,
amateurs. Used to see a guy around who'd converted his white Ford Mondeo estate into The original ghostbusters Ecto 1
And yes, it was so utterly dreadful it was nearly brilliant...

Very droll!
