😀 Ive just been teaching my fiancee how to control a skid on the local deserted car park! Most fun indeed 😛 substatially cheaper than a skid pan, and just maybe one day it might come in usefull, but here's hoping she never needs it.

Did this in my wife's A3, great, lot of fun. Did this in my Honda Accord (great big massive car about 9 metres long), holy SHIT! Turned it back on sharpish.

She shouldn't need it she should read the road conditions to avoid a skid, according the million mile driving instructor.

Drac - you're right, she shouldn't need it. But when push comes to shove and she has made a mistake....

Drac, your taking the micky right? I will assume so, as you can’t be that incredibly naive.

Oh my god you are....What about Deisel spills or somebody/thing runs across the road, etc etc. Do roads have DEISEL SPILL AHEAD written on them so you can "read the road" ahead? errr no.

Sorry took the bait,

leaves room and shuts the door.

Just spent about an hour nobbing about in the b&q carpark myself, great fun! Driving back home afterwards I kept turning in really early thinking I would be taking the corner sideways, accidentally scared a few people I think.

Been out in the 4 x 4 this afternoon when it snowed really heavily (had to go rescue the daughter and her friends, the person picking them up got stuck). Felt really bad as I slalomed around cars stuck going up the hill................for about 5 nanoseconds 😈 The CRV was finally justifing itself today.

They said I was unique (not sure that was a complement). You don't live in Lancashire do you?

No, about 300 miles south
And yes Ambrose, fully justified. Most people i passed that were stuck/spinning out were wishing they had penis extensions at that time too.
