i thought i'd post something different about my pastime other than riding. Surfing - there has been some huge swells hitting Sydney this winter, probably one of the best winters for swell in recent memory and this video captures the vibe on the days when it gets big....its manic but exciting at the same time. When the swell is not up....its time to play on the bike!

Something slightly tamer here in the UK, the Severn Bore is in a few weeks time.. Paddle board at the ready..
man that looks busy, so glad i have my little secret spots. pumping though and i bet that waters nice and warm. when it gets big here in south wales its freezing
I just had three weeks off and you get the surf to yourself after 9am - its all about timing. The weekend is crazy though but crowds can be avoided if you go to the right spots ie. not manly or bondi!
looks nice. be nice to get in warm water with consistent waves. my surfing has gone rapidly downhill in the last couple of years.
