as above really...it snowed on Saturday and come Sunday morning we had a good covering of the stuff where we live. the back garden didnt have a good amount as it has in the past and the driveway had less but the playground directly behind us had at least 4cm. so it took my 2 eldest out with the sledge and we decided to build a snowman as well.
the snow was the perfect type of snow for snowman building and snowballing. anyway after about an hour we had built a pretty reasonable snowman in the middle of the tennis courts and decided that seeing at it ws getting close to lunchtime and the youngest was starting to feel a bit cold, we'd go in and come back after lunch. on return we found that the snowman had gone...nothing but snow crater where he had previously been standing.
my little daughter was upset. not a rant (actually it is) but a word of warning that there are some people who are actually sad enough to do something like this

Today I discovered one of my Staffies is terrified of snowmen.

there are 2 courts there and the snowman was in between them both...if anything it could have umpired any matches

My guess is he saw some bloke with a bow and arrow and didn't fancy getting shot in the face so did a runner...

Your snowman? That would appear to be a public location, and by your own admission you've used snow which was already there rather than bringing your own.

My little boy, 3, woke up this morning and looked out of the window.
He said the snow had gone. I asked if he knew where it had gone, he said "Someone else's house, it's their turn to play with it!"
