grantway - apart from the bloke in the hat, all pics are HDR with 3 bracketed exposures @ +/-0.7ev so any apparent underexposure is merely my processing. However, I have received that comment on other pics I've taken, so maybe it's my eye - or my screen. That said, they do look a little darker on here than Flickr.
The bloke in the hat was snapped outside the Lamb & Lion where we were staying. It is an awful photo that took no end of processing to look remotely acceptable, but I quite like it nonetheless.
Oh and the last pic - can't make it look straight at all, but will be re-visiting it to make it better than that.
