The strawbs have been good this year but you always get an over ripe bad strawb in a punnet and my favourites the rasps you dont get much for your two quid but they are good
My plums are looking good this year and we are going to get lots of gooseberries .

They always do, old boy....
Lots of wild raspberries about the local woods, awesome.
Another good year for fruit love summer fruits.
Found some whopping Sloe crops the other day too.
The wild Rasps and Blueberries up on the hills round Pitlochry at the weekend were amazing.
Every weekday breakfast at work is rasps, strawbs, blueberries and grapes with mango yoghurt. So much nicer than the forced winter fruit we get in the supermarkets from october/November onwards.
I said something earlier about how good the nectarines are this year, but my connection dropped and it disappeared.
Anyway, nectarines, big ones from Lidl, very tasty. Beware of mouldy ones.
Loads of blackcurrants, redcurrants and cherries from the garden. My mum has made a big batch of blackcurrant jam, still plenty more on the bushes.

Planted a cherry tree 2 years ago, it's settled in pretty well, decent fruit this year until the birds raped it in one sitting. Netting next year methinks.
Yes I’ve had some beaut nectarines this week 👌
going to get lots of gooseberries .
Aren't they done for already? Mine were going inedibly soft on the bush by early July. (that said i like them when they're good and sharp, none of these sweet mushy ones)
I'm enjoying a great glut of Japanese wine berries. Like little raspberries but a more subtle flavour.
The black birds and squirrel ate all my raspberries, even though they were netted.
Sad because I normally get a few punnets to freeze for the following months. Raspberries always freeze well.
Not a soft fruit but the bl**dy squirrel ripped all my apples off the tree and ate them before they got a chance to ripen, grrrrr.

Netting managed to keep the blackbirds and squirrels away from the redcurrants and raspberries, and we have so many blackberries as for it not to matter, but they've stripped all the leaves from the brussel sprouts!
