When a United team is rightfully booed off at Old Trafford after a truly woeful nil nil draw with Crystal Palace, at home, then the games up.

We've got some great players, who just look miserable being forced to play Jose's awful brand of anti-football

All a manager has to do is say 'get out there, enjoy youreslves and do what you do' and it'll be better than the dire exhibitions of late. As far as trophies are concerned, United fans expectation is presently absolutely zero - we're simply nowhere near good enough - but we wouldn't mind watching some actual attacking football for a change.

Jose never fitted at United. And decent players have just gone backwards under him, as has the squad as a whole. Its just absolutely awful to watch!

But it was getting worse every week, there was no sign of turning it around and he was entrenched in a position that wasn’t going to change without either selling a heap of players cheap of paying over the odds for more who he would then declare were crap.

Just an observation really about how the win stats can be misleading. Surprised that SAF was under 60%, even allowing for the first couple of seasons which were pretty disastrous.

JM must be relieved TBH. Living in a hotel room for two years isn't going to put a smile on your face. Heard him described as 'The Alan Partridge of the Premier League'.

They've got a nice set of fixtures to go out and do that all out attacking too. Away to Cardiff, then home to Huddersfield and Bournemouth.

Might have a punt on Pochettino taking over next season

So my top 4 for the job are
King of the Jungle Harry
Fat Sham - might keep them up
Stevie G - should finish off Jose's good work
Kevin "I'd Love it" Keegan

All the sort of big high profile names that a club like united deserve

I'm pretty certain we gave him the job when his "powers" were on the decline, he should've had the job as soon as SAF retired, which I think was the plan until Bobby Charlton put his oar in, at that point he was on top of things and winning, instead we wasted a few years on Moyes and then LVG, terminating in a now broken Jose who I don't think ever recovered from hiss breakdown at Chelsea.

No - he's always had this 3 year cycle, he's only once made it to a 4th season, that was with Chelsea, he didn't finish that season.
His abrasive style is great for short term results, but if you want continued success he's not the man.

Forgetting the special/useless one for a bit...

I’m just watching the Netflix documentary about Sunderland. It’s bloody brilliant! Proper behind the scenes, access all areas stuff, about a club that isn’t going to be worrying about a top 4 premiership finish, and the passionate fans and how the club fits in to the community.

Well worth a watch.

Bit confused if they make that decision, sure he's somewhat of a legend, but he's done bugger all as manager. Sure, he's doing OK at Molde, but was a bit of a disaster at Cardiff, not exactly an inspiring choice when you consider some of the big names who are out of work and would potentially have taken the job for 6 months just for some fun.

I do think though given a month most half decent managers could easily make the squad play better football and entertain the fans more so than they have been 🙂

Back to footballing matters, interesting game tonight IMO, wolves look capable of causing top 6 sides problems, they try to play football and don't tend to just sit back and invite pressure. They are one of those teams that if they have a bit of bad luck could get thrashed, but with a bit of good luck could cause a surprise.

Yep…and I bet Daniel Levy is looking forward to the battle ahead for Poch!

Levy will destroy united at negotiations. My prediction is that he will just give them enough hope to keep tem negotiating for most of the summer, before finally rejecting any offer late into the windows, leaving united to make a desperate bid elsewhere still without any plan.

Don't think Wolves can really complain at that scoreline. They came back into it in the second half of the first half, but in the second half, Liverpool had them in their pocket.

I realise he gets a lot of praise, but that was a masterclass by Virgil this evening. He really is a class defender. His touch to score should not belong to a defender. 7 goals conceded so far this season. It doesn't seem to matter who plays alongside him, they just rise to it.

I admire Wolves for their approach to the game - they had Liverpool rattled for a good chunk of the first half, but were outclassed for most of the game to be fair.

As much as we talk about the front 3, Virgil is who's making the biggest difference imo. I didn't see the game yet as I've been out for a beer but he's just fantastic!

not a great performance but two great goals, Salah's looked so easy until you watch the replay and what a finish! Wrong part of the wrong foot, but so right!

And then as above, Van Dijk's touch for a defender was sublime.

Going to be interesting to see what Ole does later this afternoon.. I think he'll have the easiest team talk going. "right you lot... that ****s gone now, so you can actually go out and play some football now. Off you go..."

First game i’ve Properly looked forward to watching this season. Hoping to see a ‘proper’ united performance for the first time in years. Here’s hoping...

I’ll take that! Just the difference in attitude. We looked like a different squad! Loads of players upped their game from the turgid shite we’ve been playing under Jose.

Mind you... I had a few quid on 4-1 at 20/1 so the 5th was a mixed blessing 😂

Time to swap a united player or 2 into fantasy teams, if they are allowed to attack and express themselves then there is some currently undervalued (in fantasy football prices) talent there.

Mike Phelan back where he should be.. Great performances and a much better flow and style of unshackled play. Still room for improvement but a good start for the new interim manager (baby faced legend )

I think i’m Like most united fans. Having Ole as manager is brilliant! As that performance showed, but the far far bigger point is... Mike Phelen’s back!

That’s what the difference is going to be. If anyone thinks they’re going to get away with giving anything less than 100%... good luck with that

On a more sobering note Reading lost... again. Bad ownership could see us in league 1 (3 in old money).

Missing the point completely. It’s the difference between going out playing Jose’s bloody awful sit deep, hoy the odd ball up to the big bloke, or actually giving them a game.

It’s about who we are as a club. Watched us get taken apart by Barcelona and applauded them at the end because it was a game. The last few years have been ****ing awful because I just want to see us play with the attitude we played with today. We’re Man Yoo. We don’t play that sitting deep defensive shit. We hit teams! And that looked more like that today.

The two Barcelona Champions League finals? You were torn apart! Fergie admitted himself you sat off them, the Barca carousel and all that.

We'll see how it pans out in ten games or so. Maybe attacking will be the best form of defence, given how bad the defence is, routinely bailed out by the best goalie around.

PSG are nowhere near the league of those Barca teams

We’re realists. We’re shit. But you know.... 20 times and all that. We know how this works. Winning Premierships.

You don’t. Not one. Can’t wait to see you all build your hopes up then lose to Huddersfield and Wolves to hand it to City. You know that’s what’ll happen

I’d love to have had a camera on Jose watching that tonight. Al his failings laid out on a plate for him.

I’m sure that as a prisoner of his own enormous ego it’s all everybody else’s fault, not his

What a ****!

When Jose was suggested asa replacement for Fergie, Bobby Charlton said about Maereen “manchester United would never employ a man like that’

If only...

But then that’s the owners we’ve got. As long as the TV rights and noodle deals come in, they’re happy

One Swallow/Soljskaer does not a summer make and all that. It was Cardiff and there were 11 or so frustrated young men released from their shackles. The upcoming fixtures allow for wayyyyy more delusional vigour too, not too much of a difference to those you mock Binners 😉

Either way, Short term memory and all that, but before the rebranding, those you mock were winning everything for fun whilst Man Yoo were languishing in Div 2, or the Championship, post rebrand.

Lest we forget where we come from.
YNWA 😂
