Is that Qatar welcome sign legit?
Just want to drop this cracker from the Ispwich game here. Did he mean it? Does it matter?
Who cares? 🚜
No hat-trick for Haaland tonight, is he on a downward spiral now?!
I know, clearly a busted flush (2 goals and then Pep pulled him off at half time)
Better than ANOTHER matchball; his front room must look like Sports Direct
Pep pulled him off at half time
You have to keep your best players happy.
Looks like he’ll only ever really need to play 45 minutes.
Job jobbed by then and the rest of the squad can have a bit of a kickabout for the other 45
I wonder how many points clear of everyone else Citeh will be by the end of the season? And what’s the record for goal difference?

Yeah, it's not looking good, they're into their stride and injuries are reduced as well, they played a CL game and managed to rest De Bruyne, Rodri and Foden, and then be able to take off Haaland and Bernardo early, if they carry on like this it'll be another season focusing on who is going down!
Was nice to see Grealish looking sharp and having a go last night as well, he's starting to fit into the team as well and starting to look like he belongs in the starting line up now.
That’s the terrifying thing about Citeh. You look at their bench and any one of those players would be one of the first names in the starting line up for any other team in the league
Steve Bruce still being Steve Bruce.
An absolute fraud and will still get several millions in a pay off.
Citeh remind me of how Chelsea started last season...

Albion season ticket holder here...it's ****ing toxic up there at the moment. I was glad we lost last night, hopefully will accelerate his ****ing departure.

Shame he was free when Utd were looking to replace Ole...
Big one tonight. Battle of the hoops: QPR v Reading - the former being the false hoops.
Anyone else watching the England women? So much better, more positive and good to watch than the men! Good game so far…
It’s all about the high pony tail tonight
An Engerland game that’s actually worth watching
It’s a high quality goal fest!
Gulp!
F'in Dykes
Not good. Another penalty.

Yep. Refreshingly positive play and atmosphere, admittedly the top 2 teams in the world so it should be.
I like the fact we've become a bit nastier, we were too lightweight last year and Ince has added that to our game, but now we're tending to give away silly fouls - and right on cue......
At least VAR was able to differentiate between an ass and an elbow.

Unlike the referee.
Citeh have Southampton at home today. Think it’s worth a punt on a fourth consecutive hat trick for Haaland. I bet the odds aren’t high
And I’m presuming everyone has him as captain on their FF team?
Enlighten stuff in case you didn’t think it was bent already…

Pfft, can’t even score two against Southampton!
Watching Tottenham play football could be classified as a cruel and unusual punishment!
Even as a spurs fan I've not felt engaged to watch this season.... Although I do have a ticket for Everton. Seagulls, another win which is impressive..... Without being at all impressive by the look.
Good to see spaghetti western bad guy, Diego Costa back in the Premier League.
This is a bit of a boring game compared to the Spurs one 😂
Arsenal beginning to look like the real deal.
Arsenal beginning to look like the real deal.
Yeah, they weren't at their best today, big players were a bit quiet, but they still managed to grind out a result, not something you'd have seen a year or two ago, Martinelli is turning into a bit of a player, and a few of those big money players are starting to look like their pricetag, Ben White at right back and Tomiyasu at left back worked well for them in this type of game as well, so they do seem to be able to change their format for big games.
Liverpool are really struggling to get results though, they played well in stages, but that team doesn't look like a team, they've lost a bit of their confidence and leadership by the looks of it, and next up in the EPL is Man City!
Liverpool need some better central midfielders, Henderson and Thiago don't have the legs to chase a game
Been a bit tuned out of PL this year but with the magic telly ref ‘n all that, are all teams picking up penalties as soft as Arsenals? Flippin tragic.
Ah well.

Seem to have managed to scrape a comeback against Rangers tonight.
Firmino was class tonight. Nightmare for Rangers after starting well - a very limited side on tonight’s showing.
Newcastle fans will be consulted over St James’ Park naming rights, insists CEO
So you’ll get a choice of 2, maybe 3. none of which will have St, James or Park in the title.
Sorry, market forces.
thought I'd watch Wolves vs Forrest hoping some goal action! it's ****ing dire.... Wolves seem to have a prop forward playing on the right wing Traore ? who should cut back on the steroids and gym work and spend more time with a football at his feet he's over hit every cross and fluffed every chance. Costa has a cigar out strolling around stealing a living!
Has anyone been watching the rebooted Fantasy Football on Sky with Matt Lucas and Ellis James?
It’s actually really good. Probably more entertaining than Wolves v Forrest 😂
In other news, Burnley are top of the championship.
forrest have missed their penalty!
Was just about to post when will spurs get their penalty, and as by clockwork Kane falls over in the box.
Well I was at the game and it looked pretty clear Pickford tripped him from my where I was sat. Be Doherty and hojberg had good performances. First half wasn't electrifying by any means but serving half spurs went up a gear and seemed decent, worth their goals and a comfortable win.
You'll need to watch it on replay, only one thing in Kane's mind when he got to the ball, the amount of play acting and diving wasn't good to watch yesterday, was like watching an Italian team from a generation ago.
He clearly tripped him, but only because Kane manufactured the contact that led to it.
Mixed feelings; some would see it as clever play - in basketball it's taught and encouraged to create (and avoid as a defender) contact and fouls - others would see it as cheating. Conversely, once he'd fumbled the shot Pickford could have given it up and prepared for next phase, by diving in he created the opportunity for Kane so has to be seen as poor decision making in that instant.
Just seen the Kane incident. Gotta say that's a dive. It's 20 years ago English fans were lambasting Klinsman for this. Kane is getting a reputation for this.
Pickford fumbled and made a stupid decision to trip Kane who had his back to goal. Clearly a penalty, won by Kane? No, given away by Pickford needlessly. Pickford is great at stopping shots and time wasting...oh and gurning. He doesn't keep his head though.
The contact was with Pickfords head and Kane moving his thigh into it, as @theotherjonv said, it was manufactured, his only intention was to make contact and fall over, there was no 'trip'.
It wasn't pretty to watch with the simulation, Son going over at any chance, same with Bentancur, a couple of the yellows were more for the amount of rolls they did rather than the actual contact!
Who's referreeing on Wednesday?
stunning double save by Kepa! finally living up to the price tag! ? and another from a point blank header!
Milner in at right back for Liverpool due to Konate being out. Gomez at centre half. 😳😳😳
Shame as I was looking forward to Konate up against Haaland.
You absolutely love to see it.
Well what do I know - Milner and Gomez were outstanding! Hope Jota’s injury isn’t bad. Nunez decision making though……he’s going to have to do some to shake of the Andy Carroll moniker!
What a great win! Klopp has beaten Pep 11 times now, 4 more than any other manager! Much as I love Klopp though, he really needs to set a better example with his behaviour towards referees and officials - the standard is set from the top…

That was an absolutely cracking match! The refereeing is so much better this season in letting the game flow

It’s not often I agree with Maureen but he was right when he said that if he carried on like Klopp did he’d be getting red cards every week.
Gomez would be first choice if not for injuries, he just needs a run in the team
A little bit of moralising from binbins. Another thing you absolutely love to see. 😂
You love it! 😃
Anyway… who’s this new Gomez bloke?
You used to have a defender called Gomez but he was just a bench-warmer as he was rubbish!

He had his days 18 months back and looked ace. But recently he's made me want to buy Maguire from you.
I didn't see today's game as I was out. But glad he's played better
He was outstanding! Man of the match, and deservedly so
I do seem to recall he was quite prone to Maguire-esque howlers in the past
He's had awful luck with injuries to be fair. During the title winning season he was first choice with Van Dijk.
So with Rice rejecting a mega pay packet that even a banker would consider, which big club will the Ireland/England international go to?
Chelsea for sure. I think he was there as a kid - and let go? Big mates with Mason Mount apparently. He wouldn't improve City (Rodri, with Phillips as understudy) and United have Casemiro now. Can't see him at Liverpool - I think they will put everything into trying to get Bellingham.
Hi, just logging in to say that Arsenal are still top of the league
Log back in after Christmas and try again. Might do a Leicester though...
Key for Arsenal is injuries given lack of depth in the squad. Keep a settled side fit for the league and play the reserves in the cups and you never know. I expect though a spanking from City will occur and dent confidence.
We were very lucky against Leeds yesterday. It will all come crashing down soon enough, I'm sure. Still think top 4 is our target and I think we could find ourselves battling for that from Christmas onwards.
Anyone hear Greame Souness defending Klopp this morning on TalkSport? Saying that we should all cut them some slack as they are under huge pressure in the most competitive league in the world. He's an arse. There's no excuse for a grown professional man losing his temper over a tackle on a football pitch and getting sent off. It's one of the reasons I've fallen out of love with football.
Yeah, even Klopp agreed with it, maybe he'd think different if they'd lost, it was for shouting down the assistant as well as combined antics on the day.
Reality is that Liverpool still have a battle, they are at pretty much full strength just now, but one or two injuries from the World Cup and they could be back struggling, Man City had an off day as well, can't see many weeks where so many of their starters aren't at the races.
We were very lucky against Leeds yesterday.
Yep - I couldn't believe how many let-offs you guys got and lots of people saying that disallowed goal right at the start of the second half should have stood too. I was gutted when we missed the penalty 🙁
Klopp did get sent off for being an arse so not sure what the issue is.
MOTD said last night that VAR reported either of City’s infringements would’ve had that goal disallowed so no grounds for complaint.

In a most matches, the Haaland shirt tug on Fabhino would have been a foul, in the context of the way this game was refereed and the amount of challenges that was allowed, it was a harsh decision, no point refereeing a game to allow the game to flow and then when that results in a goal deciding to review it and apply a different standard. It wasn't an awful decision though, just out of step with how the game had been refereed in general. I really want to hear the comms between the ref and the var officials, did the ref miss the tug on the shirt completely, or was he persuaded to change his mind.
It would have been an awful decision though to disallow the goal for Haaland and Alison challenging for the same ball.
Why is watching footie on Prime so juddery. Tried, Roku and the fire TV stick.
Spurs have just got out of their own half on the stroke of half time.
Is in Conte they’ve got as manager? Or Maureen in disguise?
Only got 45 minutes to get their penalty as well, cutting it tight!
Funnily enough we made the same comparison sat on the stand on Saturday. Tbf, it's been lively and competitive
Could go either way this.
They’ll have to venture over the half way line now
That was a better goal
