Sad I know, but anyone else spotted that the bikes cranks are not at 180 degrees to one another - clearly a bso but why would they do that?

The entire advert is based on flawed logic

My mate Dave can design the electro-optic guidance system* used in cruise missiles but can't fix a puncture.**

* This is actually true

** So's this.

My uni housemate was scared to light the gas grill with a match. Joined the artillery.

Must be a right good advert if I can't even remember what service it is for, even after pausing it to confirm 😳

Can he service my car?

Just wondering which skills from the advert he does have 😛

I properly laughed at that.

Took my Type 42 Destroyer into Halfords yesterday to get it fixed.

Guy just looked at me blankly.

Took my bike in today. ....Same thing 😉

Chap reading physics at Cambridge University was caught trying to fry an egg in a pan held aloft the electric ring hob so as "not to electrocute himself"

Last I heard he was doing chip design for ARM or something

And a chap also studying physics at Bristol Uni, who is now a professor at Cambridge, spent some time explaining to me that "skipping" stones on water was impossible.

This confirmed that:
a) He'd never done it so had misspent his youth.
b) He didn't know that much physics at the time
c) He'd never seen the Dambusters film
d) He didn't believe me when I said I could do it

Before.
We fell out following an argument about lady friends. These days, I would happily send a thunderbolt up his chuff if I could arrange it.

Erm, not sure how he's good ng to fix it. One crank arm has a square taper, the other has a diamond taper.

Hahahaha! *sends to MEO mate immediately*

Also, what is the guy doing which would involve a spanner while pedalling?

Chap entering his second year, at registration, asked how to spell our degree title.
Psychology FWIW
This was the point when i realised it was about money and not standards. He was not dyslexic I checked. He got decent marks as well he did not just scrape in.
