At four in the morning on a Sunday?

I've got some work testing to do following a change that's gone in overnight. It was supposed to be at 3am, so that's when I got up, but it's been delayed...

I'm always up around now. Favourite time of day.

Just having a coffee then heading out for a ride. Sounds like a nicer morning than yours.

Enjoy. Looks nice out the window.

Shouldn't you be concentrating on driving?

Elderly cat thinks shouting for his breakfast at 5am every day is perfectly acceptable.

Off out for a ride but always up at this time. Normally I’m awake at 4 in the summer so I go out for a ride for an hour at about 5 (as long as it’s not chucking it down or blowing a gale). Best part of the day. 😎 I too am a member of staff for a cat who occasionally shouts underneath the window for food.

I am old and now get up at 05:30 everyday.  Benefit being I am usually out on bike by 06:30-07:00 when it is nice and quiet with not many people about (at the weekends anyway)

After 20 odd years of 430 am starts as a postie in the glory days of public service I now avoid that time of day if possible. Although my last 3 working years were spent shelf stacking with a 5 am start including Sundays which I'd never done before. It took me a while to work out why they gave me the job at 60 plus years old 😔😔😔

Up at 630 on a Sunday and I thought that was too early!

I'm doing safety boat and mark laying for a youth sailing event today. Briefing at 830 and I've got my own two sailors to get ready before.

I should be leaving not typing on here....

It's a normal time for me every day 5am. Get a few chores done, coffee then bike.

Works best. Bed for 930ish.

One week old baby so night and day no longer have any meaning! Though to be fair I actually really like being up this early this time if year especially. Sun slowly coming up and the birds going nuts is a nice way to wake up.

Been up about an hour, as we booked food shopping delivery for 1000-1100, to get it over an done with... Every week it feels like a serious cardio/strength workout these days thanks to long covid, carrying ~5 trays up one flight of stairs and unpacking. But at least it's delivered to our doorstep, neither of us are capable to our old wander down to the precinct and walking back with bags.

It’s not unusual for me to be up around 2am, but I’m retired so no more being forced to set my alarm for 5am! I’m a natural late-night person.

Sitting on the patio with a glass of red at 20 to midnight after working an afternoon/evening shift to 22:00. Mon-Wed is my weekend - big bike ride tomorrow, gritstone cragging in the peak with an old mate Tues-Wed. Peter Anthony's putting them on, pulling them off and putting them on again....

Good thing about midnight patio drinking (and wireless earbuds) is that you can unleash your hair and indulge in some air guitar rock face gurning...
