Never really listened to RAGM before but I've played a couple of the videos above and while I agree with the sentiments, I think the music is shite.

Ho hum.

Bulls On Parade for me. I remember hearing it on top of the pops and just thinking "What the hell is this". Must have been 5 years later before I actually liked it...

(Still a wee bit annoyed that they did that thing whereby splitting up and going away for years turned them into a huge festival headliner, pre-split they played mid-afternoon at Reading... Post-split they headline.)

Northwind - can remember seeing them at Reading, drummer had his back to the crowd, did think they were higher up the running order though.

Has to be something from the RATM covers album - Maggie's Farm or Microphone Fiend. Great stuff. Yeah, Maggie's Farm.

Born of a broken man. I love the drum/percussion. The whole album 'Battle for Los Angeles was very drum/percussion focused IMO. True to say later albums were more guitar-focused?

Anyone heard the collaboration with Tom Morello and Boots Riley "Street Sweeper Social Club"?

It's pretty good if you like rap/rock fusions. Oh, and Dog Eat Dog too.
