On Amazon Prime Nekrotronic. Absolutely shite but definitely worth a watch.
Just had to suffer the overhyped, style over substance pile of steaming cat turd that is Joker.
The Joker?
I've just written and then deleted a response to this as it sounded patronising. Suffice to say I disagree wholeheartedly!
I may add Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade to the list – great laugh but utter nonsense
I loved Last Crusade. Crystal Skull though... 🤮
Gotti on Netflix with John Travolta, truly dreadful we stopped watching after 20 minutes.

Well yeah, its not like someone who didn’t like a film is going to suddenly realise they liked it just cos someone points out why they disagree with them.
Anna.
watched it on a plane. figured it was luc besson so it should be ok. really wasn't.
Whilst fruitlessly waiting to book a Tesco delivery slot at midnight last night, I watched Kingsman, which I would like to add to the list.
Hitman working for a shadowy organisation is about retire a very wealthy man. But the organisation seems to kill off its agents as they retire. So you get an aging hitman being hunted by a young band of ruthless whippersnapper hitmen and women.
See also The American with that bloke from ER.
On Amazon Prime Nekrotronic. Absolutely shite but definitely worth a watch.
Watched the trailer, even Monica Bellucci didn't convince me.
I'm watching the new hellboy tonight I'm a huge fan of the comics & like the del Toro take, .... I hope I'm not posting here later
Crystal Skull though…
That's shockingly crap. Awful CGI and a storyline that seems to have stolen large parts of the Tomb Raider script.
Plus clichéd jokes about "getting too old for this..."
I watched Assassin’s Creed last night, i thought that was very poor.
"Absolutely Anything", on Netflix I think.
It looked fairly promising, a Brit comedy with Simon Pegg, and some of the Monty Python cast and Robin Williams (in his last film) doing voices.
It was awful. Just really clunkily written, poorly directed, the comedy was weak and the setups were clumsy and obvious. And the plot was pants.
We watched to the end because we really hoped it would redeem itself. It did not.
I posted in error (twice) on this thread: https://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/so-whats-the-best-film-youve-watched-recently/page/1/
Watched The Platform a few nights ago – it had hints of being a great movie but was ultimately, a turd. 2/10
I also watched watched The Postcard Killer last night. Borderline tosh. 5/10.
Watched The Heat this week starring Sandra Bullock - utter rubbish.
Her partner breaks just about every rule in the police force and doesn't get sacked, they make so many errors but never get killed and the scene where they hack her office suit into a disco outfit is ridiculous!
Arachnacide on prime of netflix.
Awful.
Peter Rabbit.
I thought it was horrible but my daughter seemed to enjoy it.
I have form for liking unpopular films on here (Polar and 6 Underground are probably those viewed as ,ost serious transgressions) but even I have drawn the line at Extraction on Neflix with Chris Hemsworth.
There again probably everyone will love it.
Hemsworth I find likeable usually, the plot seems stupid but thats OK - aren't they all these days? but the unending violence makes 6 Underground look like a kids film.
Disappointing.
We watched Hot Air on Sky Movies last night. God knows why. Steve Coogan playing an American right wing shock jock DJ (I know... me neither).
Dear god, it was terrible! Beyond awful! Shmaltzy, formulaic Hollywood shite of the laziest type.
Coogan phoned it in, but it became strangely compelling watching his attempts at an American accent drift into English/Irish/Italian/****stani during the course of a single sentence.
Rambo Last Blood. Just terrible.
Ironically I stumbled on Extraction on Netflix shortly afterwards, and that was what I hoped Rambo would be.
6 Underground & Polar- agree, awful.
I’m watching the new hellboy tonight I’m a huge fan of the comics & like the del Toro take, …. I hope I’m not posting here later
I’m eagerly awaiting Kimbers post because the new Hell Boy is utter bobbins. David Harbour is good, but everything else about it is just plain awful
Loved the trailer, hated the film.
We just watched the Harley Quinn Birds of Prey thing. Suicide Squad was actually better. Judging by the quality of the (many) fight scenes, it was aimed at 10 year olds. Why, when your film is aimed at 10 year olds, do you fill it with the "muddyfunster" word? Bizarre.
Yep, the new Hell Boy was shite. Watched it the other week and not a patch on the Ron Pearlman version.
What?! Moon is brilliant IMHO.
Terminator Genisys was a steaming turd
Well what can I say...
1st off im a big hellboy fan, I have every single hellboy/bprd & expanded universe graphic novel , I'm only missing one lobster Johnson & a couple of the latest bprd & Edward greys & 1 short story (collecting these has taken me a while & some of them go for silly money paperback of this I've seen for £400!....
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/1506701787/ref=mw_dp_olp?ie=UTF8&condition=all
(I'm waiting for that one to come up cheap, just missed out on a £15 copy from Germany, thanks to covid!)
Anyway , hmmmm hellboy wasn't as bad as I feared in some ways, it stayed pretty true to the story arc - was great to see that, but missed some key parts & all I could think was how great it could have been if deltorro had done it, such a waste, especially as supporting cast are all great in other things & they really stunk in this, Harbour was good, but he stood out coz everyone else just sucked so much.
Ultimately was deeply frustrating that deltorro/perlman never did it, could have been sooo good
To add on the other hellboy versions were a lot less true to the comics, but that makes total sense coz they tried to cram far to much into the new movie, what a waste
There are a couple of hellboy animated movies , sword of storms & blood & steel that are better.
I've just wasted an hour watching some of Extraction, just arrived on Netflix. It's just plain tedious, even less engaging than John Wick 3 while taking itself way too seriously.
We can add the latest Star Wars to the list. Finally watched it last night. It was so bad that when Luke Skywaker first appears I actually laughed with derision. How can so much money have been spent producing such a mediocre film?
I'm currently watching Mission Impossible: FFSAreTheyStillChurningTheseOut? (aka Fallout).
They've all been nonsense, but at least the first couple had novelty value. This just seems to be a collection of clips from the previous movies. Same gags, same disguises, same lack of laws of physics... (And yes, I know, what did I expect etc. etc.)
We can add the latest Star Wars to the list
I'm gonna disagree, sort of. Watched it last night, the previous effort was so bad my expectations were set at rock bottom. I was pleasantly surprised it was what i'd describe as a 'one watch' enough to entertain for a couple of hours

it is a bit silly, if you can bring that much firepower to bear as a drug lord and the other boss basically only had one guy.
Last Christmas.
Directorial debut from Emma Thompson (who i like). Semi good idea ruined by a shockingly bad plotline and all over the place directing. Plus the overall Wham theme running through it and too many "cut n paste" scenes stolen from Richard Curtis films. Truly dreadful.
