Doesn't show a great deal of faith now does it?

God looked after his plane, but took his eye off the ball for the next one on the runway.

Left because of bad weather /imp[ending storms

Perhaps he thought the devil sent it and it would chase him so he did it for the people?

He picked the wrong god. Zeus would have looked after him.

Clearly, they haven't been torturing enough homosexuals.

A massive marketing opportunity missed - he could have stood in front of the storm and got his bessie to miraculously turn grey skies to blue at the click of his fingers.

No doubt he'll be popping over to Holland to see me and give me a punch in the mouth in the name of his ever loving Dog now.

No point hanging around to help after a massive storm...

If he stays longer he would attract the fanatical south. I think they may have set his itinerary on purpose to keep it as a surprise or perhaps they know if they stay longer it is not safe there. Either way godman has abandoned the people ...

the fanatical south

Always had a soft spot for them. Some really quirky songs with catchy tunes. Song For Whoever was one of my favourites.

Unlikely given his role and position - more likely he knows his own scriptures, Deut 6:16 confirmed in Luke 4:12 and Matt 4:7. Even more likely his security team told him what to do.

But frankly, he probably would have done more good staying there with "his flock"

Just don't go there if you value your life. Seriously. If they know you are there i.e. a white man, you are in for a lot of speaking in front of the TV.

edit: problem is if he abandons them they will swiftly convert to the other one with black flag if not careful ...

Teamhurtmore - If I had said he should say "Bring it ya big, old sky fairy" then yes, that might be seen as testing the God he tells us exists.

What I was talking about was the oppurtunity to bring some old testament pazzaz to a church that has been losing market share in recent decades.

I thought market share was increasing? They're selling self-loathing to Africa on an industrial scale.
