I had to raise some money just to get through the month so one bike simply had to go.
Seeing as im now fully paid up for the Surrey 100 in August it only seemed right to sell my prized Soul, with Reverb, Rebas, Hope Hoops.. all loverly in green - and keep the road bike.

Man I loved that bike. Best bike ive ever ridden.

Now im confined to lycra.

Will I die?

because I got fat again, need an excuse to ride.

Plus the road bike wouldnt have recouped as much.

Feeling stuffed now. When the trails dry out ill be pulling my hair out.
I have an old single speed Inbred frame hanging up, im going to try and make a cheap as chips Frankenbike for the summer.

I really hope the road miles burn off the spare tyre, as 1 gear is going to be a very tough call off road around here.

you sold the wrong bike mate, you can ride a mtb on the roads and the trails but you can only ride a road bike .........

Chin up over the other stuff, things always end up okay.

You will be fine on the Frankenbike.
I recently sold my beloved Yeti to fund wheels for my new road bike build.
I did like 50 miles in 2013 on it, did 5600miles on the roadie...
There was no point in keeping the Yeti
Mate offered me his old Cannondale Gemini frame, lefty fork and wheel to use as a project as a Frankendale in case I am bothered to ride in mud again.

PS Don't be sad, haven't you heard 26" is dead 😉
