Monmouth third?? Have they ever tried driving near there? Makes Highbury look appealing!

😀

Just done the quiz though - says I should live in Blackburn, so I'm wondering which bit I filled in wrong.

Anyone with a subscription fancy posting the full list? 🙂

Took the quiz and apparently I should live in Clydebank. 😕

Skipton is pretty nice but it's a bit of an old person's town.

Clydebank for me too. Far too many 'couldn't care less answers' from me.

The quiz suggested Gosport in Hampshire. Once I'd Googled it find out where it is it seemed a pretty good suggestion, a view of ferries sailing away.

I should be in Strathcarron which would be fine, a bit strange though as my best place score card and current place scorecard are exactly the same. 🙂

What's wrong with driving near Monmouth? Miles of stunningly beautiful windy roads with hardly any traffic. Can't see what the problem is.. Also makes superb road riding.

Kingsbridge, Devon. Sounds good, apart from being a long way from most places - I guess when I said I wasn't interested in transport links I didn't really think about that (though Worcester seems to have the same score for that, so it doesn't actually seem to include that).

Anyway why would I leave Australia 🙂

Benbecula! I even had to google it it find out where the hell it was, (not actually hell, but you can probably see it from there)

Suspect it they had actually asked a question along the lines of 'would you like a job that's not distilling illegal whiskey or sheep farming' then it would not have scored so high.

Amlwch, Anglesey. Never heard of it. Bit different to Worthing I bet. Any good riding nearby? Guess I could always get a track bike and head to the racetrack

I got Bow Street which is between Aberystwyth and Tal-y-bont. Actually that wouldn't be so bad, loved my time in Mach several years ago 🙂

Would have preferred somewhere in the NW Highlands mind!

which of those places means sunshine?
also shock horror no Hebden Bridge! guess they have no times readers.
There are some right holes on the list though I guess fast internet and a good school makes up for a lot in their weightings.

Cheers rondo. No Hebden Bridge, yay - hopefully the media will stop ****ing on about it. Todmorden is clearly cooler now!

Funny that according to the Times Hebden was the '4th funkiest place in the world' a few years ago though. 🙂

Are all you lot uninterested in sunshine?

I'm northern - WTF is sunshine?

I got isle of haris. As wonderful as the place looks, it's a bit too out of the way for me.
I don't mind Darwen, I just find the people very odd and living in the town centre and close to the pubs it gets on my nerves the noise at the weekend.

I'd move further up the hill on the border of Bolton where is quieter but still within easy distance of the moors

I got Plockton - I'd move there in two shakes of a baby Robin's tail 😀

My folks live just up the road on Skye so could do babysitting duties. Sadly, Mrs Removed quite likes the idea of living near conurbations so my dream of a rural idyll will remain just that probably.
