Falke.
I've tried others (particularly Burton) and they're agony in comparison.

Board socks are sometimes a bit thicker than ski socks.

Properly shaped socks with heels toes and ankles tend to be more comfortable than "tubes"

Merino ones will do a few more days without stinking out the chalet (keep you socks and boots aired overnight if that's your plan)- but then you could have twice as many pairs of cheaper socks.

Salomon and K2 have been my favorites.

Yep, as above, board socks are cut/padded differently.

I'd recommend my choice for skiing, Smartwool PHD Lights. They do a board version as well, and if they are even half as good as the ski version, they'll be all of teh awsumz.

To be honest I just use the basic Decathlon socks, cheap as chips, warm and comfy.
Used to be called RNS50, now rebadged FirstHeat socks but still only £2.99 a pair.

Aldi - though I might try a pair of something more expensive to see if they're worth the extra. Smartwool / Point6 sound interesting.

I just come back from skiing and used the smartwool socks from TKmax. they were great. tkmax had some boarding ones as well.
I also picked up some bridgedale and saloman ones and some aldi
the bridgedale were ok, the saloman and aldi ones i didnt like so ended up keep on wearing the smartwool ones.

seemed to be a habit of mine, by way too much stuff and favour only a few items which just work really well

Honestly, just about anything will do. The thinner, the better.
