In Kent right now!

Only that fine stuff which doesn't seem to be settling.

Yes sir, could be the first snow day of the year. Getting the sledge out the garage as I type.

Got a feed to do and my marital survival instincts say taking my sledge out onto the local golf course might not be the best course of action. Plus I'm gubbed!!
Jeezo, think this means I'm getting old..

After deliberation, put a snow stud on the back of the xc bike but lacking a decent option for the front, went with a Specialized Hillybilly. Not sure this is a good idea but if nothing else, at least it's the only Soda in the world with a rigid fork and a downhill tyre.

Oh God. Northwind, I have respect for you as a forumite, but tyre choice is a huge amount of commercially led bollocks. I have a Ritchey tyre on the front which came of a Dawes mtb and a Continental explorer on the back. When they wear out I'll replace them.

Had some up here in North East Nortjumberland but not much and most of is melting now, enough to bring the south to a stand still though.

Here in Holland as well. Not much use for the sledge though even if I had one here! Back in Blighty tomorrow so hope it lasts.

Ace photos! How cold did it get up there during the night?

Air temp didn't drop much below -5, but it was silly cold in the wind. Windchill was significant, would have been worrying for someone who wasn't prepared and got lost/stuck etc.

I was snug as a bug though, had my new winter belay/photo jacket on which was absolutely awesome, can't believe how windproof it is. My toes didn't fare well after a couple of hours standing around taking long exposure shots in the snow.
