You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Got home to snow bound Derbyshire tonight after a week working away to see lots of people out on our road clearing drives with shovels.
Drove onto mine, then back off and on a few times to flatten it, got out of my truck and went inside for a coffee.
It was even more satisfying than yesterday watching/helping my workmates spend 45 minutes digging their vans out of verges before jumping in mine, firing it up and driving straight off.
That is all.

Nice. And tonight it'll freeze over, and you'll slide out on to the road, crash, and have to walk everywhere.
Not as smug as I was last year when I rode on my mtb past a couple of 4x4s stuck on normal residential streets in the snow.

2 metres down the 1 degree slope onto a cul-de-sac would make that unlikely. 😉
I seem to remember a post on here a few days ago about feeling smug about a ford kuga......
before it all went wrong
Black ice is a very fickle mistress.....
There's no snow here in Cambridgeshire. I've got nothing to feel smug about and I'm feeling very left out.
I haven't actually got a 4x4 or anysuch, but that's not the point. I'd like to be able to have the chance at least.
I think I'm going to cry if I carry on seeing posts about snow ;-(
