Just signed up for their free trial on plastic packaging free washing powder (well liquid).
Although the fact they post it to you (driven by diesel van etc) probably negates some of the benefits....
Anyway, anyone tried it - does it get stuff clean?
Yeah, it's just washing liquid and dishwasher liquid, as per normal. Not too smelly.

Does the plastic packaged stuff get sent by bicycle ?
We’ve had it for about a year now. Seems fine.

Ours comes by pigeon...
I have laundry things and dishwasher tablets - no complaints although the packaging is bloody tricky to open and then falls apart after a few weeks! They have just started offering fabric conditioner - not tried that yet.

I would rather they threw it at the house, save on all that CO2 and bird crap when flying.
I'm tellin you, ballistic deliveries are the future.

How have you got washing liquids to your house before now? Single car journey to the supermarket?
Anyway, been using them for a year now. I like the smell of the laundry liquid - smells fresh without being overly floral or chemical. And I wasn't too fussed by the dishwasher tablets until I used Ecover, which made me realise SMOL are generally low odour / taste after the wash. So thumbs up from me.
We had them both, dishwasher and laundry, for a while. Perfectly fine products but the ordering was haphazard. They kept sending pack after pack even when told to stop so in the end Mrs BigJohn cancelled them as it was annoying her.
Laundry and Dishwasher here - all good, aside from the annoying packaging!
All good - their new plastic free packaging is slightly tricky, just be sure not to bend any bits you shouldn't & keep an eye on your order schedule.
I'm slightly skeptical of their offering. Our current dishwasher tabs, laundry tabs and fabric softener are delivered to our door by the supermarket along with our other shopping. This would add another delivery to the house.
If we did the shop at the supermarket, they would be transported to our house in our car, along with the other shopping. So I don't see much gained there.
Their product is super concentrated, but they deliver it in seemingly small quantities. Surely a delivery of a large quantity, infrequently would be better? As it's super concentrated it shouldn't take up as much space as normal stuff. There would also be fewer deliveries.
So all I see is a direct to market supplier and the only gain is it's cheaper. The eco stuff is perhaps window dressing. Less plastic packing but at the cost of an extra delivery
Have they reduced the packaging and increased the concentration for environmental reasons or because it makes it easier and cheaper to post?
For laundry (washing and drying) we've been using the EcoEgg
They are refillable things that last hundreds of washes (it says 70 but we've used ours for way longer)
I was skeptical at first but they are brilliant, never going back to detergents!
