Any recommendations? Usually wear loakes but I think the stiff sole isn't helping with my Achilles flare up. so looking for some soft soles but smart shoes. can be a bit less formal than leather lace.ups.

Rockport with Adiprene soles. Spend much of my working day on my feet, often on hard workshop floor and have sworn by them for several years now.
(Usually get mine from Amazon as they have a huge selection.)
