I know nothing about these what so ever, so please be nice!!
Have an Iphone SE - would like a watch that plays music via bluetooth earphones without the phone being there. Ability to accurately record a run.
Not bothered about using it with my phone as like a normal analogue watch

Sounds like you need a "running watch", rather than a smart one.
I'm interested in the same thing, so I don't have to have a watch and a separate mp3 player for the tunes, so this post is mostly so I can find the thread again!

Colour me interested too. Currently have a vivoactive and want something similar that can play music, but doesn’t cost the earth.
