iPhone or HTC from that list - 5800 WAY too fiddly for regular use.

Well that's quite a wide spectrum of costs, from about £200 up to £600 ish, so I guess budget would be the main one?

5800 not fiddly for me. Has the advantage of being very cheap.

Got the HTC HD2, great phone if you like WM, plent of free apps and the screen is awesome (much better than iphone)with OS mapping linked to internal GPS 🙂

"Organic" like that link! how do you do that?

I found symbian s60 on a touchscreen was pants - some menus you can double tap, some you have to go through a menu, some are single-tap...

Thanks Del.

Cost not an issue as its a free upgrade on our business account.

Orange dont offer the HD2 so its one from my original lost.

Leaning towards the Hero at the moment.

free apps and GPS, so quite like the iPhone then?

Though I agree the HTC HD screens are nice.

Write lots of emails on the device? Blackberry.
Geek? Android.
Masochist? Windows Mobile.
Anyone else? iPhone.

The big benefit of the HD2 is being able to run MemoryMap ... but you'd have to use MemoryMap a lot to make it worth suffering Window Mobile 🙂

when will memory map hit android though? don't want the iphone cost, and android looks perfect for me except for the absence of a memory map app.

I disagree with Hero = Geek

I have a Hero, OK I am a Geek but
you certainly don't need to be one to use it and get on with one
Windows mobile yes Geek been there done that far too much hard work

android is simple

Got my hero last weekend. I'm well impressed with it. Never used andoid before but am so far impressed with the experience

Bought the turn by turn sat nav software for it and it is fantastic.
