Is there a way to watch the match without the camera angles changing all the time?

The sudden close-ups are doing my head in.

A nice fixed angle from the half way line is all I want.

The pace of Mexico on the counter make it look like they’ve all been partaking of South America’s favourite export 😂

The pace of Mexico on the counter

think it's lack of legs in the german team, lucky to get away with 1-0

Well it does look like you can take the ball off Brazil and for every good solid tackle you get 45s against 10 men as the roll around

Neymar needs to start playing for the team instead of for personal glory if he wants to ever lift that world cup.

If you give a foul for that there would be a pen/free kick every time the ball was crossed.

I’m loving that these supposedly lower ranked teams are turning up to play. No bus parking. No trying to grind out draws and a point. They’re having a proper pop at the big boys.

Its been bloody brilliant to watch!

Switzerland 6th, Mexico 15th

Fairly high ranking overall

You know what I mean though Mike. The press just write them off. Like the game is a done deal. It’s great watching Messi walking off with a face like a smacked arse after a country with a population the size of Manchester found them out by turning up to give them a game.

You looked at France the other day against Australia  and they clearly thought all they had to do was turn up.

Nobody likes that kind of arrogance. No way did they deserve 3 points. Neither did Argentina, neither did Germany, neither did Brazil.

They all had their minds on the knockout stages and forgot they had to play what was in front of them first to get there

It's the big one today.  I'm leaving work early to get tanked up. A nation expects. Sweden vs South Korea.

That's the worrying thing about football for me nowdays with VAR. We could quite easily see 99% of them ending up as penalties... i really really don't want that. I want 1% of them to be given, i want reactions, i want mistakes, i want controversy, it's football, it's all about opinions and trying to get away with the odd tug, the odd shove, a deliberately mis-timed tackle etc. That's what it's about. It's not cheating, it's not unfair, it's a contact sport.

I’m not sure I agree Weeksy....there have been so many miscarriages of justice that can have massive consequences.  Take Henry, hand ball goal that took France to the WC at the expense of Ireland .

So far the VAR process has been nicely restrained.  Meanwhile the Swedes are playing route 1 footie, with no results yet

I really want S.Korea to get something out of this game ..

I know it's totally illogical but I have two reasons why ..

1.Seb Larsson ..Swedish Mackem

2.I hate their strip ..😁

At this point I'd rather Sweden win but SK take points of Germany, Mexico and one not being Germany through would mix it up a lot

Keeking....that’s a new one on me!  No, I think for once we have gone into the tournament with no expectations, a young team who are being coached to play in fearless style. Whether that actually happens is another story, but we are hopeful! 😀 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Ronnies free kick equaliser still the tops (by a mile) with Coutiniho’s second.  (IMHO)

I actually want England to do well. Some muppets in the squad, but at least there don’t seem to be any of the previous:

Racist guttersnipes (Terry)

Narcissistic plebs (Cole)

Overated thugs (Rooney)

So, all in all, positive vibes.
