The Rig sevens are great - lots of bits to attach guy-ropes too. Sold out again I see though! 🙁

I like my poncho as it doubles...as a poncho...which will go over me and my backpack in a downpour, but it comes with brass eyelets in the corners for tarping. I guess its about 1.5m x 2m.

I cant remember the brand name Im afraid.

Lidl used to sell a poncho/groundsheet on their 'special' outdoor gear promotions. I've not seen one for over a year so I don't know if they still do them.

Ok so I used my old poncho/tarp ....but as I remembered I lent it to someone who used it at a wet Glastonbury ......and he very kindly washed it in his washing machine as it was a bit muddy 😯 ......anyhow ...now it's not as waterproof as before ...would re proofing it with some fabsil be the best way of re proofing ..???

Im a nikwax mine myself, but assuming fabsil is similiair I dont see why not. I would wash it in the special soap, then the special gunk and then top it off with a spray and dry.
