...I just found a carrier bag of sloes in the freezer. I put them in there in 2008. Do you reckon they'll still be good for sloeginalisation?

I'm sure they will be fine, but why bother with frozen, when there appears to be a superabundance of fresh, this year?

Get them whacked in a bottle, and do another one with fresh berries as Trampus says.

Better get on with it though or it'll not be ready by Christmas. Mine's been stewing for nearly a month already.
