Any recommendations for an inexpensive lightweight inflatable mat that packs down small for bike camping? By inexpensive I mean under £50 and it’ll need to be wide and long as well!

Alpkit is the usual answer for this sort of thing:

Alpkit do some lighter options too within your budget.

Just been looking and they do some with the same weight at my expensive Thermarest Neoair Xlite but far cheaper!

Noting this in my head for when my lad comes on a trip with me.👍

Recently got one of these for bikepacking. Used it once so far and found it really comfortable. Packs down really small too.

That go outdoors one looks suspiciously like an Alpkit one but cheaper. Nice find.👍

No mention of R rating/insulation value in the OP. A warmer mat will be much more capable of extended use throughout the year and any weight gain is offset by the need to carry a less warm sleeping bag.

I spotted the go outdoors one the other day but I couldn’t find anyone who’d actually used one. They pack down far smaller than the self inflating foam types. One issue I’ve heard of is moisture from your breath rotting the mat from the inside (obviously over a fairly long period).
I doubt I’ll be camping through the winter, I’d say comfort is of more importance at this stage.

I use an alpkit numo, lightweight and reasonably warm.

Make sure you keep the receipt if you get an Alpkit one, fair chance you'll need it.

I have a Numo. Packs very small and is reasonably comfortable.

Mrs Boblo has that Alpkit Numo. She's a shorty so the length is just fine. I've had reason to use Alpkit's warranty on their airmats a couple of times, fortunately not mid tour.

Having written that, I had a Thermarest Xlite fail at the seam that needed warrantying by Cascade so they're not immune either.

If going for a cheap mat closed cell foam best for warmth - might be best to deal with the bulk- unisulated inflatable mats can be chilly.
