Supposed to be launched at 12:01 am last night. Checked this morning and I dont have channel 108.
Anyone else got it yet and any ideas why I would be missing it?
The changes moving some of the HD channels have happened i.e. sky 1 HD has moved higher up the list so my system must be able to receive updates, although when I checked the network settings on the sky box they were all blank.
any ideas? I dont want to miss board walk empire!!
I think the launch show is at 8pm tonight according to he adverts on sky - mine isn't there yet either - shame the beeb hasn't swapped its HD/normal position
could well have something to do with the launch being at 8p.m.
this is sky only isn't it? no virgin access?
Well the blurb I got through the post said the channel (maybe not the programmes) would be available from midnight last night.
Hope it magically appears by tonight!
is there going to be a non hd atlantic channel, or is this another one of sky' ploys to get everyone paying them more money ?

Surely its a ploy! I hate how much money I give to sky but as we cant get vigin I dont think theres much of an alternative. After ice broke our sky dish over christamas we were left with freeview - it was terrible!

Does anyone know if you have to be a HD subscriber to get this or is one of the free HD chanels sky offer?
Used to subscribe to sky HD, but dropped it last year, but still get some free HD chanels off sky.

I notice that the HD channels haven't appeared in the 100s for the old terrestrial channels; wonder if that's cos it's BBC1 North West rather than BBC1 That London?

All the listings are on my Sky+ app on my Iphone so i've just set it to record Boardwalk Empire tonight.

Just had a wee gander, its now on channel 108 on my sky+
108 is standard def, not sure what channel hd is on.
Not on mine it ain't, "Atlantic HD" it says.
think if you dont have hd you can stil watch it in standard def,thats what the nextdoor neighbour said and he works for sky.
That sounds imminently sensible. Why would you need the SD channel if you've got a HD subscription?

FYI: Boardwalk empire is on 3 times this week, and it didn't series link properly. I had to set each one individually.

Well just watched Boardwalk empire and have to admit I like it, fingers crossed the other new series will be of similar quality
