Hi folks,

Its that time of the year and thinking of riding next year, we have done Freeride Madeira, Finale, Garda, Ciclo Montana and numerous big mountain days in the Alps.

Anyone been with them recently?  How is the accommodation and are the group sizes not too big?

Thanks

Alan

Not recently but I have to say that it was perhaps my least favourite MTB holiday ever. The hotel accommodation wasn't great, my friend and I were in a pretty teeny room, and our beds just inches apart, the guides were good (co-incidentally met them on another holiday where we exchanged horror stories) but the owner wasn't a great host. It may have been that it was the last week of the season and he was a bit de-mob happy, but each time he guided us, his actual goal was to get a KOM on the strava section, so he'd leg it off into the distance and we'd all be trying our best to navigate unfamiliar trails, everything was just a bit too much hassle, and it felt like he couldn't wait for us to **** off.

Things may be better now, but personally I wouldn't give them any more of my money.

Thanks Nick, think they have changed hotel but don't want to get this wrong as the trip is £780 plus flights.
