Anyone got one of these and are they any good?
Need to sort out kitchen and bathroom extraction and wondering if this might do a secondary job of reducing condensation and adding some warmth to particularly cold kitchen in particular.
Something like this from envirovent

What's the sort of cost for one? Couldn't see it on the website.

The Envirovent one is around £500 though there are other options around half that.

It amazes me that companies go to the trouble of describing their products but don't tell you where you can buy them!
Might solve a problem for me so looked it up: website below shows £425, but out of stock (due to manufacturing issues)
We have a heatsava in the kitchen. It does help with condensation. We have single glazed windows and no other extractor.
It can't add warmth to your room though, just reduce the heat loss of the alternative extraction methods (extractor fan, open window).
The unit was a bit annoying in October as the weather was so wet and inside temperatures were equal to outside. The unit would sense the high relative humidity and ramp up but pulling in air at the same temperature but higher humidity from outside doesn't help, the internal RH didn't drop so the fan speed remained at an elevated level.
Dl you have extraction in the kitchen currently? Do you think this is the reason it is cold in the kitchen? If not then heat recovery won't add to the heat in the room it will just reduce the heat loss.
