Looking for a simple free app to use as a training calendar. Already use Strava to track and analyse rides and runs but really want a calendar that displays a week or month where I can program a 7 day routine, then add a tick or highlight when done. Ideally, I want to set a routine that repeats each week so I remember to do things like yoga and stretching. If I can add the specifics to each day that would be a bonus.
Any recommendations?
No way to mark when done as far as I know.
Want to be able to see 7 days and the activity for each day. Then something simple like green for done so I know what I've done or missed for that week.
Uh.
Excel?
Sorry, I'm probably not helping much.
On both the above, you can edit the activity to change its colour to indicate if you completed it
(actually, at least on Google it would change the colour of the all the activities if you set up a repetition)
I think the Trainingpeaks free account can do that - it uploads your ride data (via Strava) and gives you a whole load of info and you can add training to it and it will show each day something is due. It then downloads to your Garmin (I assume it works on other devices as well) and you do the workout and when you upload, it then marks it as complete.
I'm pretty sure the free offering does that, the paid certainly does and gives access to a whole load of other metrics as well. Paid-for service is very useful if you have a coach.
I don't think the TP Free allows you to schedule stuff in the future, only tracks things you've done.
Intervals.cc. shows activity history, planned training and analysis.
Not looking to upload rides etc. Just want a basic calendar to schedule the activity then mark as done or not done.
Doesn't the Garmin Connect App/ webpage allow you to set a training calender and has preset stuff you can choose.
if you have a Garmin watch or device too it cna upload them to your device and act as reminders

The ride upload is automatic from other services. The nice bit is planning your training and see that you did it. I think intervals also tells you how well your activity conformed to what you planned (I.e. did your planned intervals session have the right intervals). There is a section on this and 3/4 of the way down https://intervals.icu/about.html.

If you select tasks or reminders then you can mark them as complete.
Reminders are probably better option in this case since you can set them to repeat.
I've tried Intervals.icu which links with Strava well but cant see an option to mark a planned activity as done or not done. The best calendar I've seen so far is TrainerRoad but don't want to pay every month just to use their calendar.
All I'm looking for is some kind of tick list for each week to say what I've done. Not all the details of each workout. (have Strava for that).
I want to have a calendar without reminders so i can look at the week ahead and see something like this very simplified version:
Monday - Zwift 1hr zone 2, ride stretch routine
Tuesday - 4 mile run, run stretch routine
Wednesday - Zwift 1hr Zone 1/2 ride, ride stretch routine
Thursday - Hip strength routine, Back & Shoulder workout
Friday - Rest
Saturday - Outdoor ride, stretch routine
Sunday - 4 mile run, stretch routine, Yoga & Core workout
Then mark as done or not done. No reminders though. I'm always busy when they go off then I forget to do them. Just want a calendar to look at when I'm free that day. My problem is I end up doing too much for too many consecutive weeks without a rest week, or I get to the weekend and realise I've not done enough.
I've been using HabitNow for the 100 days of exercise challenge and it seems to work on. Does way more than I need so might have all the features you want
Habit Now looks like it might do what I'm after. How do you view the week ahead? And Mark something as done?
Polar Flow has a good feature where you can set up your training regime in a season or just in a weekly calendar.
When you do the exercise using flow it automatically shows the session as done.
You can use any BT HR strap to connect to flow.
If you just want a basic calendar just print out blank weeks from outlook or google calendar, write your sessions in, stick it to the back door w blu-tak, strike through each completed exercise with a sharpie and feel virtuous

Thats exactly what I want but as an app without reminders and a simple tick or cross on each day.
