Anyone thinking of doing this one?
Having done the TA this year I am really keen on this one 15 days of riding equates to an average of 75 miles/day with 5686ft of elevation gain. So not too tough going.
The scenery looks mind blowing.

I was reading up on this earlier, looks good.
Rode in Kyrgyzstan doing some touring nearly 10 years ago now. Scenery is incredible. Great riding spot. I was looking at this race just as an excuse togo back.

Wow - just looked at the route profile - thats a lot of it at altitude! getting enough food could be tricky too. Properly Epic

it will be mentally wearing and become physically tough for different reasons to the TA
still the people are so nice its unreal - or certainly they were when i was there how ever do read up and respect local customs.

That was my concern there's some long distances between resupply.
All part of the fun though.
its not just the distance its the quality of whats availible at the resupply , youll best readjust expectations of food 😀

I did a cycle tour in Kyrgyzstan in 2016 that covered the eastern half of that race. It was seriously remote country and the "roads" are in a pretty dire state. Amazing scenery and lovely people, but serious remote over much of the course.
From a conversation tonight it looks like there's a few pals who are thinking of heading out there. 😉
