My newborn makes similar noises to the TonTon from Empire Strikes Back

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllll night

Been suggested it's silent reflux, anything I can do?

Does it bother them?

If no leave alone.

If yes not many suggestions but perhaps try lifting one end of the bed so that the head is slightly higher than feet

As above - if it’s just a noise then that’s what babies do, they can be very noisy! Ear plugs for you? 😜
If there are more side effects... well, you’d be asking different questions I think.

Our daughter had quite bad reflux from birth until about 6 months.

She was prescribed Infant Gaviscon which was a powder mixed in with her milk which seemed to keep it under control.

Apparently its quite common, but babies grow out of it fairly quickly.

We also had gaviscon prescribed for ours. Things like keeping them more upright during and after feeding helped

I'm not sure what makes it silent as opposed to standard reflux - but like bensongd and Marin_Maketh_the_Man we had infant gaviscon to mix with milk once(?) a day. However I'd suggest that whoever suggested its silent reflux would be the person to ask - ie. health visitor, or GP.
