3 weeks ago I answered my mobile to a number from the Swansea area, I'm job hunting so calls have been coming in from agencies and company's all over the place. I answered to be met by complete silence, now I am bombarded with at least 5 a day from this number, no message left ever starting to drive me crazy. Gave up answering after the first time thinking they would just go away.
What does a company/individual get from this?
Anyway you can block them?

Reminds me of my mate who constantly sent his wife blank texts when the fell out and weren't speaking.

I hate the 'mystery caller'. I will always Google the number and often it appears as a well known cold caller. If its a legit call it should also show up as such from a search.
Once established it is spam, I 'Block Contact' on my phone.
I refuse to answer the home phone as I never give the number out.
it's a machine calling you which when you answer routes the call to any available opertor, the calls are silent hence there are no available operators.
