Is telly all that?

Currently enjoying "No satellite is being received"

...and moaning with you square eyes.

Got it for the first time tonight - brushed the snow off the dish and it worked again - then didn't work, brushed snow off dish and still didn't work, now working again, but snow has abated.

Just had the same problem

Unfortunately the dish is on the roof. But some careful aiming with the hose got most of the snow off.

Looked at Mrs. C last week and said "can we just turn this pish off".

She said aye and we haven't had it on since.

This old dangly doodad called DAB is the future, images are too distracting.

Careful - your pretentiousness might one day swallow you up and all of a sudden you'll be the parody of what your STW persona wants you to be. Don't worry though, the evil tellybox will be banished and your soul will be absolved. You can still catch up on Attenborough's Africa on your 14" laptop though, so all is well!

I hope you all got through the night ok without TV and that you can begin to come to terms with any lost recordings. There is help out there. 😛

One of the few benefits of having Virgin Media.

Well, until the molemen start gnawing through the cables.

Unless off course the dishes at VMs head end get snowed up and they can't persuade one of the on shift tech guys to get his brush out.
There'll be even bigger uproar today when half the lottery dishes don't work and the bookies live racing feeds are off too
No Sky, no Lottery, no horse racing - there'll be tears before bedtime on many an estate today
