Smattering in Sussex by the sea. Snow ride later! Sith Hound was NOT impressed when he was sent out for his morning wee.
We have loads here but its not frozen yet so everythings a bit wet.
OH just text me a pic from her house in Markfield - full on whiteout!!!
Snowman achieved in Milton Keynes, kids having hot chocolate now, woolen gloves.....
The whole country will come to a stand still. Pretty soon we will be fighting foxes for kebab meat as no food can be deliverd by Tesco 🙁
As-light-as-icing-sugar dusting here in East London. I've nailed planks over all the windows and stacked most of my furniture against the front door. Currently sat here with a shotgun on my lap and a nervous finger on the trigger, necking pro-pluses and prepared to not sleep again until April
Damn ! sure I saw a polar bear just now
stood out quite boldly against all the green & brown of the local landscape 🙁
Darley Dale from my bedroom window this morning - disappointing....

About 4 inch drop last night in deepest Harrogateshire, enough to for us to get up early and throw snowballs at the nephews bedrooms to wake them up... Then havoc ensued with snowball fights, feeding geese, herding sheep and making snowmen.
It's all a bit light and fluffy though, so expect it won't last.
Returning to Town in a little while and keen to see the middle lanes of the ,,A1M rammed with numpties...
I ask, is London knee deep and full of marauding Tesco shoppers killing each other for sliced white bread yet?
SNOW!!! in West London.
Not enough for sledding but I expect the trains are buggered.
And I'm back inTown and disappointed not to see hoards of Tesco'ists hammering each other over the head with stale baguettes ...
No snow.
Is not disappoint.
2 hour delay on my flight back to London, no doubt caused by something snow related, which considering I'm sitting in Sweden where it will remain snowy until March is almost quite funny.
It's snowing in Joensuu
And Rochdale, quite heavy at the mo.
Hides a multitude of sins, even Smallbridge looks OK.
I dug snow off road and salted from Tomintoul yesterday - for a few minutes I was quite concerned...
Then the sun came out for the drive back home down the A9 - snow and sunshine.. 8)

Good effort matt, are you a snow plough driver
No, but you know the steep bend into Bridge of Brown? That was a tad too white for my summer tyres to cope with.... I did on track, other driver did another of clearing and lobbing some grit...only about 20-30m
Not a bad day. Looking into the Northern Corries this afternoon...
Like.
Zero to winter wonderland in the time it's taken to have a shower.
Looks in for the day.
Few flakes down south in Stroud
Snow in Stockport, and it's sticking....
Hammering down in Bolton. Luckily I'm off work today so will be exploring Rivington for slips and giggles
Loads here in Rossendale and quite a few schools are shut. I'm not at work today so sledge's are coming out 😀
Snow in Yorkshire but not worth cancelling work for, it's that wet horrible stuff that will turn to rain
'orrible wet snow here in south Manc.
Any offers what it's like in the Peak? Supposed to be driving to Lincolnshire tomorrow.
Big, soggy flakes in Haslemere
Went out for a spin on the hard tail earlier (I think I had the right tyres for snow)... glad no one saw me slithering along the local bridelway singing "Let it go, let it go...' at the top of me voice.
But my heart sank when I saw it coming down this morning because I knew faceberk would be awash with crap photos of snowy driveways, garage roofs, back gardens etc etc etc... why?
Wow.
Good inch up on the tops this morning up in Beautiful Burnley.
Juuuust melting now, but a nice surprise.
Day off. Going for a squelch.
At it again here in Rossendale. Shame I'm tiling.
🙂
Proper childhood Christmas fantasy flakes round here.
Glad I'm not out on the tops, it's low and looks in for a bit.
snowmageddon apocalypse in Skipton, anywhere else?
Yep Baildon near Bradford
PICTURES!
What part of Baildon? I'm just off Station Road and just rain here
A good covering on Kinder Scout too.
Blue skies since late morning in the North.
With that North Easterly over the last few days,it does feel like Winter is still hanging on for a bit.
Beware Scotland, fat bikers will be flocking north this weekend! 😆
scoutroutes - ha ha i saw the Cairngorm twitter feed and thought "no" then checked webcams ! Wow.
some flurries over the pentlands and sleet in Edinburgh this afternoon
Can confirm full on blizzard conditions by the Pentlands. Probably caused by me arranging to ride there tonight rather than Glentress. Apologies.
Snowing in FoD this morning
Snow on the hills around Bradford this morning
Grit on the roads 🙁
Glorious in the Republic of Mancunia this morning.
Shame I can't ride..
Nice blizzard at glentress today. Didn't settle but very heavy.
Falling in Gloucester, of all places
Had all my Winter gear back on this morning as snow flurries blew through .Oh,and that wind going home last night was just brutal 🙁
Snowing in London!
No way! Central or like Sutton?
Yes way!
Central, near Fenchurch St Station, looking south over Tower Bridge, Shard etc. Snow shower didn't stay long, moved SSW.
Wonders will never cease!
Just hail (and sunshine!) here in East London
Snow in Coventry right now . WTF! 😯
edit. ok its just a minute it turns to rain/drizzle now 🙄
Snow, hail and thunder in Hope. Luckily we've just got back from a loop in the hills before it started settling.
Hope - Win Hill - Hope Cross - Jaggers Clough - Edale - Hollins Cross - Mamtor - Dirtlow Rake - Castleton - Hope
The good milfs of Marlow had to huddle in the exit of Waitrose due to an unexpected snowfall.
snow/hail is back ..my black car turns into white now 😐 wtf man
Heavy hail/almost snow in Leeds earlier today.
I can confirm.... there is snow on Baildon moor!

Are we the most weather obsessed country in the world do we think?

aye, full winter kit on at Mugdock last night - hardly a spec of mud, even in the bits that are usually soft 🙂
Some proper eye-streaming descents off Fairlie moor!. Had to put the softshell top on, only a tee shirt last tues and Wednesday.
No.
We just still take pleasure in the fact we can wind up the OP
Everything round our way is sodden. Some tracks wetter than I can remember. I thought I'd lost a few toes and fingers when riding last night.
Everything was frozen solid this morning. Not seen it all so frozen solid all winter ! Which I had had time for a ride, not just a run.
Possibly. We are at the edge of four major weather systems, giving us incredibly varied and fast changing weather.nickc - Member
