Has anybody been on a Siblu holiday in France?

The Brittany thread the other day has got me thinking of this years holidays and with two kids who will be 2 and 4 at the time we go I think these look like a good time for all and not too pricey.

Thinking mid June in Brittany

Any horror stories or recommendations?

Also from Calais, how many hours do you think in the car to Brittany?

Thanks

Phil

Siblu takes Tesco vouchers as payment!
Anytime I have been to Brittany wsent from either Portsmouth to Cherbourg or Plymouth to Roscoff! Suppose it depends on how far you are from these ports on this side!
Traveled from Edinburgh FYI.

If you are heading to the south coast of brittany dont go via calais. Its 10hrs ish, and a horrendous busy roads. Be a mare with kids.

10 hours! Really!? That does sound a nightmare.

I've not checked the roads yet but presume you can do most of it on a toll road.

The site we were looking at is southern Brittany

We went with Siblu last year. Ended up in a private van, great position.
Bonne Anse Plage. naff beach better one 10mins by bike. I find tour operators pretty much all the same. Did try snakebites option one year but the accommodation was awful (yelloh). But it's all a bit pot-luck.

We normally sort out our own accomodation. We broke the habit and went with Siblu last year to La Carabasse and got an awful pitch near a busy (50cc moped ridden) road. Got moved to a better pitch after some polite complaining. Wasn't that impressed to be honest, the site was OK though. We won't be going back there, and probably won't go near Siblu again.
