..changing the gas fire for a wood burner and need to some ideas how to inset it/mantle it and hearth it.

Firebelly FB-1. 6kw. Made to order in Yorkshire (if that sort of thing bothers you - it did the installers: we're in Lancashire).

redfyre something or other - its multi fuel - want to replace it with a charnwood or similar woodburner and put the multi in the garage

This is phase two of our build, after having to sort out some nasty building work first time round, we had a Oak beam fitted above, ours is a Fireline FX5 sat on top of Hereford stone, with fireboard backed fireplace.
