I need inspiration for my van conversion. I want a separate area at the back for bikes, a built in bed above the bike area or possibly next to it and a small sofa. The van is a lwb mid roof mk6 transit.

A bed and a sofa? You'll need a monster van for that!

6ft Bed built in to left Side of van above bikes and 2seater sofa on right side opposite sliding door. I'm not bothered about cooking facilities so it all about comfort. I've seen some previously built how I like but I can't find the pics.

Swb peugeot boxer....
We sleep widthways, but you could easily make it length ways, particularly if your van is mwb.

Corner sofa that pulls out into double bed

Boot in the back is half height, single we width (is emergency single bed) or surfboard storage. Can get 3 bikes in(or 2 fat bikes!)

Similar size van to mine.

Current van: Fixed rear bed with garage, bog, seating

New van: Blank canvas but will follow the same basic layout

If it's a mk6 make sure you sort the locks out before you fill it with bikes (google tibbe lock pick).

Not mine (popped up on Facebook yesterday), but don't forget to make the outside as awesome as the interior!

LWB Med High Transit.
Bed was built so that a 160mm bike could fit under with the front wheel off.
What I'd add to the setup if I had a van again...
The roof rack for mounts to lock the front wheels in places under the bed.
Some storage under the bench seat
Possibly a door to the under bed storage to keep it all tidy.

Some little things like the coat hooks were a simple touch but made getting changed less faff and had somewhere to put a wet jacket.

In addition the Gas BBQ (weber Q) was a great thing to have in there.
