Quick enough, good handling car. Makes it a sports car in my book. Bikes in shot. Do I win?

Not strictly 'sports cars' but both are quite quick. Can I claim double points for two cars and then double up for the bikes?
(btw the 159 is a 3.2 Q4 and that's Mrs Fruitbat's Punto Abarth))

Not really a sports car, but this is my Merc coupe on the Isle of Man. It was fun over the mountain, but not as much fun as on a motorbike.

Thats quality, a mate has one of them (or something similar. His has nowt in it, just a roll cage and two seats), unfortunately its in a shed on a farm somewhere and has been for a few years.

Had an XR2 which felt unstable as buggery over 100 and twitchy in the corners, hated it. But it was first experience in an FWD. I much preferred the quick Escorts to the Fiestas.

I'd give my right arm to get hold of a good one - quite possibly the best car I've ever owned! Can't be an XR2, no way - has to be a Supersport!

I dont think his is a super sport. Think its got some sort of DOHC pinto engine in it and some other fancy bits and pieces. Its orange aswell!

Dont know if my two count, had an MX5 before the MR2 and liked that but love the MR2. Both slightly tuned and great fun. Couldnt find an image of the 2 together so ignore Queen-Ocelot, & any jokes about 'bikes' will get a poke in the eye 🙂 The celica is my main car (i only do 6k in it a year though prefer to walk/cycle) can take 3 bikes with seats down and has a very wide laod area which is ideal for delivering my paintings.

One that I bought about 12 years ago

[img] [/img]

which was replaced by this after my commute went from 40 miles per day to 140miles (going from 321bhp to 118bhp and dropping about 4-500kg was different)

[img] [/img]

then this as it was a bit quicker

[img] [/img]

Followed by this when I got a 2nd sensible car, kept the Exige for about 8-9 years where it turned into a more track orientated car

[img] [/img]

Now have this when I wanted something that was a bit more public road friendly and got fed up with the Lotus reliability

Nope, it's lowered, got GT side skirts and covered keyholes. That's about it (oh, and painted calipers and uprated pads). I actually managed to find one that had all the mods I wanted already done, so bought it like that.

Is yours a TSport?

Mine is a 1979 special with most of the interior removed and a med 1380 A+ engine. Its only about 115bhp and never fails to make me laugh. A lot.

Yes, I have had some memorable drives in it. I just happened upon a 'mint' facelift one from a friend in the trade and was really lucky but it took us ages to find a good MR2, we wanted a facelifted one but just couldn't find a straight one that wasn't way over book price. Settled for this late 52 from another Toyota club member.
