You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Have been on HMRC clicked on my Gateway followed the links gone to PAYE signed in to Gateway again and have Page Not Found for my rewards.
Is this because it has crashed or am I as I expect pressing all the wrong buttons?
I assumed it would be the first thing on google this morning.
Is it live now then???
We've not heard anything from our accountants who have been pretty on the ball with their advice so far...
Live since 7 apparently.
God knows where it is
It's live, but it was crashing for me an hour ago, going to give it another go later.
There's a step-by-step guide to making the application which some of you may find helpful.
And a calculator here:

Just put my claim in.
It will possibly crash a lot to start with. I understand it's a new process/system that has been built from scratch in a few weeks.
The staff have had a couple of days remote/on line training ahead of todays rollout. Please bear that in mind before you kick off at one of them. They are trying to help you the best they can
Amazingly we have potentially claimed for March and April. Thank god we bought our little book home from the shop that has all our special numbers in.
Did mine this morning for six staff that I have furloughed. It was quite time consuming to get all of the information together, but once you have that really easy.
Go to the CJRS calculator on the .gov website (I just googled it) calculate what you can claim for each employee - You need each employees NI category letter - make a note of the figures it gives you. Then log into the gateway and make your claim.
You need every employees name, NI Number, Payroll reference.
Your company UTR, PAYE Ref, Company Registration number and bank account details.
Log in with your PAYE user details.
If you have more than 100 furloughed employees it is a different process.
And Keep a note of the Claim Reference number as they don't send you a confirmation e-mail. It comes up at the end with confirmation of the amount you have claimed.
Also don't click variable pay for each month. Average out last year's pay and put that in as a fixed monthly amount.
It can't handle variable payments.
Sounds like it’s working well. I’m no govt apologist, but what they have done for jobs has been pretty impressive.
To expand on MCTD comment above, some of the call-centre software wasn't available until 7am this morning and it didn't work as expected at chez Sandwich until 11am. Herself is a tier 1 call handler and has had 7 calls or so today since 11am up until 4pm when she was told to finish. Last night she didn't finish talking with the rest of her team until gone 11pm.
The IT chaps have done a sterling job from nothing to thousands of WFH staff and then rolling out the claim system. The frontline staff have adapted well and those that opted for web-chat as they though that would be easier got bitten today (really, really busy)!
Herself has gone for a lie down in a quiet room, tea and cake supply is my official help and support of the effort.
There were 67k claims processed nationally in the first 30 minutes.
Bit of a weird one
Does anyone know if as an employer you have outsourced your PAYE (30 people) it prevents you from adding PAYE as a service to your existing gateway account (so you can apply for furlough paymemnt)? keep getting an error message but know that all the numbers we are entering are correct. Can log into company gateway account but are unable to add paye.......very frustrating. HMRC help line swamped obviously.
