Yep the early ones could fall over, then they fixed it.

My bro has a long B-class, it's a great car.

I had two of those things, an A140 and A160 both really good cars but I did have some problems with the 140, the springs were made of chocolate, the starter motor needed replacing (engine out job) the front discs fractured, the rear springs failed twice but overall it was lovely to drive and didn't fall over once, so no, no it shouldn't be criminalised.

to be fair at least every version of the A class has got better.

The new one is pretty nice.
