What sort of stuff is it? There are lively second-hand markets for dance music (especially the more leftfield stuff), punk, 60s rock, soul, etc. On the other hand if you're sitting on the motherlode of Gary Glitter LPs then probably not.
Discogs is good for vinyl and you can see what people are paying for stuff, so it's easy to make an assessment of what it's worth. Ebay is a hassle and the fees are a bit steep.
There are sites like Music Magpie which will sell your CDs for you, which is probably the way to go.
60's
but mainly 80's - 90's spacemen3 madchester and house techno.
will have a look on discogs
Please post up in the Classifieds first!
Some of the Spacemen 3 stuff could be worth a few bob.
That site lists auction results above a certain value so it's not necessarily what you'll get for them though.
got a lot of them spacemen3 on that site 8)
always thought they would be worth somet
even some of the spiritualized and spectrum cd's look to be worth somet
As I say, definitely use caution with Popsike values - I think it's just manually compiled by a couple of collector types, and I've definitely seen stuff on there that I've been able to buy elsewhere for much less. Discogs is more reliable as it just shows all the sales histories on the site.
