1) Find out you have to pay to get rid of an old tyre so decide to 'up-cycle' it
2) Use a drill and jigsaw to cut a slot through the tread
3) Stick a plank through the slot
4) Screw some scrap timber onto the foot of the plank and also through the tread to hold the plank in place
5) Screw some more planks across the top of the plank to form a back rest
6) Screw another scrap of timber to stop it rocking back too far

et voila, a garage rocking chair!

It is pictured leant right back against the stopper. normally the seat is a bit more upright and you can gently rock back and forth without spilling your beer.

How much on eBay for a 245/40 R19 Dunlop Supersport chair?

Paint it?

Perhaps black for the tyre and a wood effect to contrast for the plank?

A quick lunchtime 'test drive' highlighted a problem that has now been rectified.

The chair now comes with a factory fitted bottle opener

Anf what you need to do next is attach servo motors that can be linked via bluetooth to a games controller and you have a gaming chair 🙂

I think you should paint all the relevant dimensions on it to match your Pronghorn 🙂

If you do put 2 together for a love seat make sure you don't mix radials and cross-plys.
