Not working, but not signed on, been offered some hourly work (not cash in hand), how best to get arrange to be paid in a 'legal and above board' fashion?
It's not a long term prospect, so don't particularly want to got to a load of hassle setting up something, only to get two week work.

Opps, can some-one report this, asking for it to be moved to the chat forum. Doh!

Assumed PAYE was for employee's.. if anything I'll be temporary contractor?
TBH I've no idea, alway either been full time employee or agency contractor and left it to them to deal with..

If they have other employees they can pay you as one, you just need to collect your P45's etc. Ask them how they work with it. I've been paid PAYE for 2 days work before.

k, sound easy.. I like that. Haven't spoken to them yet, got an intermediary selling me to them (the g/f), just want to have an idea of what to ask for when I actually meet them
Cheers
