Been on the phone most of the afternoon looking for a 3 month let for this summer (summer placement before masters year at uni). NOBODY seems to offer short term lets estate agent wise. I don't know why not, we would pay a higher rate for the period happily, and then they just get someone else in, not that much extra work for all the extra income. One other option is room shares, which almost all include somebody who smokes, has pets, doesn't like men, etc etc, and I don't really committing to living with somebody I haven't met before (100 miles away so not easy to meet prior).
Is there another avenue of looking for apartments/houses/flats that I am completely missing?
Would ideally be a 2 bed (me and a mate) for 3 months furnished in Leamington spa area. Is it that much to ask? Hardly the tallest of requirements.
