Having so far failed to find an alternative full time job I've set up as freelance trainer focusing on the health and social care sector.
I've been mailshotting all the potential clients in my local area and I'm beginning to get some responses but I'm now looking to put together a 'shop-front' web site that will list the training services I can provide and have a viewable diary of available dates.
Any one got any recommendations of a webhosting company that is easy to use and cheap, not a lot of the redundancy left now, that might fulfil by basic requirements.
Thanks
www.mrsite.co.uk
£30 a year includes a domain and online webpage software that's a piece of piss to use.
I wrote this site using it:
www.patchworkrabbit.com
Dead easy and you don't need any HTML experience (though, my front page does use bespoke HTML, the shopping pages don't).
It'll get you up and running in half an hour while you learn how to write something better.
I used streamline.net - think it was sommat like £2.50 a month, or £25 a year. Probably others that would do it as cheap, or not cheaper.
If you've no experience of writing webpages there are plenty of webby types hanging around on STW if you need a helpful hand doing stuff.
Cheers both of you. Streamline looks good and is on special offer at the moment.
Now to think up a catchy company name.
