He's not the special one just now though. That would be Jupp Heynckes.

He's good, but he's no Neil Warnock, is he?

aah, but jm never claimed to be THE special one. if you listen to the quote he claimed to be A special one.

the constant misquoting ever since will forever bug me.

Holloway, Mourinho & Di Canio are going to brighten up the MOTD interviews 😀

Will be more interesting this time but cannot see him staying and he seems a tad unstable at times at Madrid - eye poking and treatment of Iker Casillas for example

With him and Holloway it will lead to good press conferences though and only Wenger of top 4 stays!
Also who is the second longest serving Premership manager ?

Newcastles Alan Pardew 😯

Much more difficult now as Man City have more money and Man U more pedigree and a much better squad than do Chelsea. So no easy pickings at home and Chelsea need a total rebuild to feature in the Champions League

To be fair - it could be either A or THE - it's unclear in the interview.

Can't deny he's talented, but he's also a sly, untrustworthy, nasty individual who isn't quite as clever as he thinks he is!

Reckon he's running out of places who will accept his particular brand of 'management' and the only reason the Russian is having him back is because no else (of repute) wants to go there!

He has been pretty successful everywhere he went, I wouldn't write him off just because it turned sour at Madrid at the end.

Does that mean he is going to replace Alex Ferguson as the most successful manager of all time?

Friend from abroad has asked me to buy Man Utd jersey for them ... 🙄
